Google+ For Training & Business

There has been some big buzz about Google+. And it is no easy feat to take on Facebook, as well as others in social media arena. When I decided to write about Google+, I didn’t look at other peoples blogs. I wanted to see it for myself (well, as best as I could). So I went and watched the videos. And you know what? I really believe that Google+ has some features that other social media networks just don’t have. And I truly believe it plays specifically well to training and online education.

One of the features is a thing called Circles. Circles allows you to create a specific circle of people that you can easily connect with. And it does this in a visual way. With your Circle, you can easily do a group video chat or a text chat. There is real value to that, especially if you are working on a group project at a distance. One of the hindrances of online training is that ability to see the people that you are interacting with in real time. Circles allows you to do this. And that’s just one feature.
